About Jane
I’m Jane Macdonald, a Reiki Master Teacher and professionally qualified practitioner, offering gentle, powerful, grounded sessions designed to help you reset your nervous system, release what you’re holding, and reconnect to your own inner sanctuary.
I learned Usui Shiki Ryoho the traditional way in a lineage that honours the time served approach with teachings handed down master to master, with hours of in-person training, assessment and case studies. In todays world so many quick fixes are in place including practitioner training. However, I believe that a professional practitioner should have a deep understanding of what it means to hold a safe space for a client mental, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This is not something to be learned in a weekend, but in time served tradition through commitment and practice.
- With over 8 years experience in Usui Reiki plus Holy Fire® Reiki, and Karuna Reiki®, blending intuitive energy work with a calm, supportive presence is an honour.
- We will opening each session with a discussion and intention setting ritual, relaxing meditation to set the frequency of the treatment.
- Each appointment includes additional 15 minutes to give us time for the opening, finish with grounding and time for you to talk through anything that's come up for you, should you wish to share, —so you leave feeling more centred and clear.
- Sound healing can be woven in by request, and card reading is available as an optional add-on

Although, the title says reset, therefore you are welcome to release through movement during the session, sometimes clients are drawn to move a limb, stretch, be vocal, emotional or something else. This is a beautiful safe space for you to express yourself in which ever way resonates with you.
I would love to have you connect with the symbols of Karuna before the session. It would be a sweet, harmonising moment to set intentions and soothe the soul - please ask if you would love me to include the beautiful sounds of Tibetan or crystal bowls in your session.
